INTENSIVE COURSES

Methodology:

The courses start with an initial evaluation (level test) that determines the language level and learning requirements of each student. Based on these tests students are placed in small class groups adapted to their needs which enables each student to reach their full potential.

Our methodology is communicative and interactive and the classes focus on developing and practising communication skills. This methodology creates a climate that facilitates individual motivation, active participation and group collaboration.

In this context, updated ELE (Spanish as a foreign language) teaching resources are used. These resources correspond to the CEFR (Common European Framework of reference) for each level and are adapted according to the characteristics, interests and dynamics of each class group.

Teaching techniques used include role-playing, project tasks, language exchange with native speakers, etc.

The teaching team provides continuous personalised feedback to each student during the course in relation to progress and are on hand to provide supportive solutions to any difficulties detected.

Regarding the final evaluation, students will sit an exam based on the criteria required for that particular CEFR level. Each student receives a certificate of completion / attendance, where it is accredited that they have reached a certain level of competence and are prepared to pass an ELE exam at that level. The certificate is accompanied by a report detailing the evolution over the duration of the course and the skills acquired.

ONLINE COURSES

Methodology:

The courses start with an initial evaluation (level test) that determines the language level and learning requirements of each student. Based on these tests students are placed in small class groups adapted to their needs which enables each student to reach their full potential.

For the online courses, Academia Teba has a learning platform that allows students to progress individually in their learning as they are able to access extra content using the Edinumen platform.

The Edinumen platform allows each student to self-evaluate their progress as well as facilitating continuous evaluation by the teaching staff and the final evaluation in the form of an exam.

Each student receives a certificate of completion / attendance, where it is accredited that they have reached a certain level of competence and are prepared to pass an ELE exam at that level.
