Diploma in Business Sciences from the University of Granada.

I have been Director of Academia TEBA for over 30 years.

During my professional career, I have implemented many innovative strategies and undertaken many different projects to grow and develop the company.

My entrepreneurial spirit has meant that Academia Teba has evolved over the years to become a benchmark in the sectors of education, training and development.

Carlos Teba García

Senior Technician in Administration and Finance, with experience in the sector for more than 10 years.

Coordinator for Public service exam preparation in the centre.

My cheerful character and good relationship with the staff and students make my job very satisfying.

Álvaro Teba García

Coordinator Academia TEBA

Degree in Primary Education from the University of Granada.

For the last five years I have been responsible for the areas of Higher Education and Vocational Training in the centre.

I am also a tutor for students preparing for the public service exams. As Coordinator for our Linguistic Immersion programmes, I focus on keeping our team committed, energetic and focused to ensure that every programme is a success.

I’m Irish, from County Wicklow but have been living in Spain for 12 years working in the area of language education as an EFL (English as a foreign language) teacher

My Irish husband and I came to Granada for one year but fell in love with the place and stayed

We have two bilingual daughters and we are all passionate about the Spanish language, culture and way of life.

I have a BA in Humanities from Dublin City University and a Diploma in Youth & Community work from University College Cork

My professional background is in education, youth and community work and resource coordination.

Elisa Juárez Alcázar

Degree in Computer Science from the University of Granada.

I have training in CAP, didactic methodology, and as a Teletrainer trainer.

With extensive experience in Academia TEBA, I am responsible for customer service, student enrollment and management, organisation of courses and management of our online platforms.

In addition, I teach computer classes face-to-face and online and I also teach various modules in preparation for the public service exams. In addition I provide professional training courses for employment and continuous training courses in companies.

Yolanda

ELE (Spanish as a foreign language) teacher Academia TEBA

Mi name is Yolanda, professor of ELE, Spanish for foreign students. I graduated in Hispanic Philology and Literature Theory and Comparative Literature Degree at Granada University. Then, I expanded my academic training with a degree in Translation and Interpreting (French and English), which allowed me to delve deeper into learning other languages and my own language.

In my free time, I love listening to music, cooking, hiking and travelling to discover new places. Although my true passion is literature; That’s why reading and sharing experiences about reading and books is my favourite hobby and how I prefer to spend my time.

Chiara

ELE (Spanish as a foreign language) teacher Academia TEBA

Hello!
I am Chiara, professor of ELE, Spanish for foreign students. I graduated in modern languages and studied the master’s degree in Spanish language. I am currently in the Spanish language PhD program at the University of Granada.
Languages are my passion and, more specifically, Spanish, the main object of my studies and, later, of my job.
When I don’t work or study, among other things, I like going out for excursions and walking around the city of Granada, whose corners, streets and viewpoints I’m in love with.

Academia TEBA emerged in 1991 as a private education centre dedicated mainly to providing additional academic support to primary and secondary school students.

Over the years its offering has evolved to include preparation for university entrance exams, language courses, vocational training and preparation for public service examinations in various sectors (Civil Guard, Firefighters, State Administration, Early Childhood Education, etc.)

Currently, our company is proud of its solid experience in the education and training sector in which we have been working for more than 20 years in Granada.

The main objective of ACADEMIA TEBA is to offer training based on three core values: experience, trust and quality supported by the use of new technologies, offering up-to-date content that can be accessed without space-time limitations.

Academia TEBA has its main headquarters in the Zaidín neighbourhood, in Granada, located on Avda. Fernando de los Ríos / Muladíes street.

This centre has modern and spacious facilities, equipped with the latest technologies. It has a reception, a management office, a total of five classrooms, a staff room and toilets.
